Why Do They Litter

This project is a continuation of my litter awareness video series asking the question “Why do you litter?” with my answers to this question. I have a passion to bring this knowledge to the population that they cannot keep tossing out their trash. I believe that people just do not think about their actions when they litter. I hope this will help get people to think before they litter. I will keep making this type of video to spread my word.

Looks Like You Lost Something

Looks Like You Lost Something (extended) for the final project, I want to rework my Looks Like You Lost Something and add some more ideas that I had wanted to incorporate into the extended version. This was my project where I showed even more things that people may not think to be litter or other items that they seem to throughout along the city streets. What are they thinking when these items get tossed to the side of the road?

I went back and shot more footage to extend the project with one more sign whir “waste” written on it. I did not have any problems finding even litter to record. I wanted to incorporate some found footage from a landfill promotion video to show where these items need to be instead of just being tossed out onto the side of the road. In this footage, I was given the idea to key out parts and layer them to give the video even more of a garbage look as the clips merge. To round out the video I used my cousin’s music again I could use the whole track this time.

I think the addition of the landfill video gives it an even a wider look at how much product we go through and how much waste is generated. Hopefully, people who see this may rethink the habit of just tossing items out the window and relies it does not go away on its own.
